Q: What is Bodega 38?
A: We are an online marketplace that only sells products from locally owned businesses to local consumers. Our mission is to change the communities we live in and the planet we live on by shopping locally. Tell your friends and family about us!
Q: Does shopping local really matter that much?
A: Yes, it matters a ton! For example, Here’s a fun fact according to Independent We Stand; for every $100 dollars you spend with a local business, $68 dollars is put back into the community you live in. On the other spectrum, big box retailers only put $43 dollars per every $100 dollars spent back into their local community
Q: How does it work?
A: We partner with many local businesses owners across the Front Range and sell their products for them on our marketplace. Once you order your product, the partner is notified immediately and begins to process the order.
Q: What if I don’t like what I ordered?
A: We currently do not have a return policy, so all sales are final. However, if you are not satisfied with a purchase, please send us a note email@example.com. We will be in contact within 24 hrs to make right by your situation, to the best of our ability.
Q: My item is damaged, what do I do now?
A: Sorry to hear that! Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will start the conversation with the business owner you purchased from. If you want to include pictures and a brief description of what went wrong, that will speed up the process. All of our partners are awesome and are dedicated to making sure you get the best experience possible shopping locally!
Q: My order was delayed?
A: We try to be as transparent as possible with our shipping dates so you have the correct expectations as to when you will receive your products. Sometimes carriers are late, business owners are late, bad weather… We are a small startup that is truly focused on generating an easy to use platform to shop local. Please bear with us as we grow, we promise to do our best!
Q: I have a question about a specific product, can I call someone?
A: Email will be the fastest and most efficient way to answer your question. Drop us a line first at email@example.com and we will put you in contact with the local business owner. Our response rate is typically within 1-2 business days but we will try to be as quick as possible.

A: First off, Thanks! We are very passionate about this marketplace and truly believe it can make a difference in the communities we live in and the planet we live on. Shopping our platform really helps not only support us but our partners as well. However, if you want to go above and beyond (we hope you do), follow us on Instagram and like our posts!
