Hi Friends! I’m Sam and it’s so great to meet you. I’ve spent the better part of my life doing things I didn’t want to do because I thought I was supposed to. This permeated into all areas of my life, including what beverages I drank.
Our story began back in 2018 when I was looking for a healthy and delicious way to enjoy tequila cocktails. We partnered with a James Beard Award Winning Mixologist to create our flagship flavor and after a global pandemic, we launched in Denver in May of 2021.
After over a year of sharing this with the world, our customers began telling us that they loved it so much they were mixing it with more than just Tequila. It became a part of their morning routine by mixing it with lemon water, their recovery drink after an afternoon run, and their go to mixer regardless of what spirit they were enjoying.
They shared all of the ways Hazlo enhanced different parts of their day. It became their Elixir for Life and we hope you enjoy it too.
A few Recipes to try
Non-Alcoholic: Hazlo, topochico, and a fresh squeezed lime
Hazlo Mimosa: Hazlo and champagne
Hazlo Classic: 2 parts Hazlo, 1 part blanco tequila
Hazlo Ranch Water: Equal parts Hazlo, blanco tequila, and topo chico
Fancy Cocktail:
2oz Casamigos Reposado Tequila
1 oz Lemon
.5 oz Combier
.5 oz Hazlo
.5 oz Simple Syrup
Muddled Basil
Combine all liquids in shaker, add fresh basil and muddle. Add ice to shaker, shake. Strain into rocks glass with lightly salted rim. Top with ice and soda water. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
